AquaPore – 0.45μm Biodegradable Filter Capsule for Groundwater Sampling
The AquaPore™ inline filter is the world’s first landfill biodegradable filter capsule, setting a new standard for sustainable groundwater sampling. Designed for environmental professionals, this filter offers high performance while significantly reducing plastic waste.
Built with a biodegradable polypropylene shell and using the same patented additive found in all our biodegradable products, the AquaPore filter will biodegrade in typical landfill conditions—turning into humus and contributing to a more responsible disposal method.
With a 0.45μm polyethersulphone (PES) membrane, the AquaPore filter is ideal for preparing groundwater samples for dissolved metals analysis, even in high-turbidity conditions. Choose between two options:
Each unit comes vacuum-sealed in a biodegradable bag, and includes a 1/2″ (12.7mm) threaded barb adapter, allowing quick and secure connections to low-flow discharge lines or BioBailers via FCP16 filter connectors.
Tested and verified for 66 trace elements in accordance with ANZECC guidelines, AquaPore is not only eco-conscious but also meets strict analytical standards.
Whether you're using low-flow sampling, bailers, or a filter flask, AquaPore makes filtration simple, effective, and environmentally responsible.
Note: If you sample groundwater using the low-flow method, simple connect your water discharge line to the AquaPore filter using the supplied adapter. If sampling with a BioBailer use the 5/8''OD filter adapter connector available to purchase separately.
