Our high-quality FEP tubing (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) is a versatile and durable choice primarily for soil gas sampling and environmental investigations. Known for its excellent chemical resistance and flexibility, this tubing is also often used in groundwater sampling when specialized requirements are needed.

Applications:

Soil Gas Sampling:
FEP tubing is frequently used in environmental investigations for extracting and transporting soil gases like VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in contaminated sites. Its chemical resistance and low permeability ensure sample purity. Perfect to use with our Soil Vapor Implants. 

Specialized Groundwater Sampling:
While LDPE (low density polyethylene) or HDPE (high density polyethylene) is generally preferred for standard groundwater sampling, FEP tubing is used in specialized applications where chemical resistance, transparency, or high-temperature tolerance is needed. It is particularly useful in groundwater monitoring for sites with known chemical contamination.
